A letter to Future Me of 2031

Hey, this is you from 2021, How are you? Have you become the better version of yourself yet? The best version of you? You reached the age of 30 years old already like Wow! 30 years on earth, right? That's almost half of our lifespan. I am just going to say congratulations on still being here today! You must have gone through a lot, haven't you? Awe, I wish that I can give you an enormous hug and tons of love because you deserve it! So, let me guess you are either doing your Master's degree or working as an occupation. I mean even if you are not there yet or change your mind on it, I still think that you're doing great. What I learnt, lose & gain from 2021

This is because I never even used any of my time this year to study and enhance my skills in those languages. I like to imagine myself doing great things and I will say to myself that I will eventually do it but I think I don't because I tend to procrastinate a lot than actually getting things done. I bought a really thick planner for 2021 but ...

This semester is very mentally challenging for me due to online classes difficulties because of Covid-19. However, classes of Usrah do release some mental stress because it can be fun and stress-relieving as we are just having a chill conversation with a fellow sister named Sister Shakirah Norhan. I was being reminded of my faith a lot from these Usrah classes. I was reminded of the beautiful reasonings in applying the basic principles of Islam which are Salah, Sawm, Zakah or Sadaqah, and Hajj or Umrah. I am very grateful to be reminded of the most basic things in Islam because I tend to forget about some of the knowledge regarding it and I also can be oblivious or careless when it comes to doing my own occasional Ibadah abide by the teachings of the Quran and scholars.  Honestly, It has been hard for me to concentrate and achieve Khushu' in Salah. I also find it hard to pray on time even though it looks like a simple thing to do especially during Covid-19 where we are always at ho...
